After dialogue with the Superior of the Polish Province, the Superior General approved the appointment of Fr. Robert Galla as the new Procurator General. His official term began on August 15, 2025.
Fr. Robert Galla made his first religious profession on September 22, 1991, and his perpetual profession in 1996. He was ordained priest on June 14, 1997, before beginning studies in Canon Law in Rome in 2001. He holds a doctorate in Canon Law from the Pontifical Lateran University (2005), with specialization in penal procedures and ecclesiastical discipline.
He has extensive pastoral experience and several years of missionary life in the district of Finland. As a canonist, he also served for several years as a judge at the diocesan ecclesiastical tribunal of Helsinki and of Lublin, in Poland.
His availability to serve the Congregation in this new mission is a living testimony of our Ecce Venio.
