Formation and Sharing
This pilot project was born from the dual objective of offering an opportunity for formation and the sharing of experiences to religious who have recently assumed the office of Superior. Beyond practical aspects, the initiative aims to promote a culture of subsidiarity and constant dialogue between the General Government and the government of the Entities.
At the Service of Communion
This is not merely a refresher course, but a genuine space for exchange. The General Government wishes to provide concrete guidelines for facing current administrative and pastoral challenges, while consolidating the bonds of communion between the governing bodies and local realities.
The entire General Council, including the Superior General and the Secretary General, actively participated in the proceedings. The international dimension of the event was illustrated by the presence of six new Superiors from four continents:
-
Fr. David Manuel Martins Mieiro (Angola – ANG)
-
Fr. Hugh Hanley (Great Britain and Ireland – GBI)
-
Fr. Joshua Moorosi Mpiti (South Africa – RSA)
-
Fr. Benjamin Ramos Fraile (Ecuador – ECU)
-
Fr. Michael Augustine Moses (India – IND)
-
Fr. Francis Xavier Thai (Vietnam – VIE)
