From March 28 to 30, 2025, a retreat for dehonian youth was held in Pastavy, Belarus, under the theme “In the Footsteps of Father Leo John Dehon.”
More than 70 participants took part in a retreat for youth coming from all the parishes in Belarus served by Dehonians.
The young people spent this time in common prayer, adoration, and learning about the life of the Founder of the Congregation of Priests of the Heart of Jesus – father Leo John Dehon. There were also conferences, an engaging interview, and group work that helped deepen and expand their understanding of dehonian spirituality.
The celebration of the Holy Eucharist was the central moment of transformation in their hearts. Games, meals, rest, and simply enjoying time together contributed to the building of strong and lasting friendships within the dehonian family.
May the seeds sown during this retreat bear good fruit in the future.
