Information on the processing of personal data – EU Reg. 2016/679 (GDPR)
This information is prepared pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (hereafter, for brevity “EU Regulation”) on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.
This page describes the management of www.dehoniani.org, the home page of the official website of the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (Dehonians), in reference to the processing of personal data of users who consult it and those who interact with web services accessible electronically from the address www.dehoniani.org.

Following consultation of this site, data relating to identified or identifiable persons may be processed.

PLACE OF PROCESSING
The processing connected to the web services of this site and to the e-mail service take place at the aforementioned headquarters of the data controller.
Any personal data provided by the user are used for purposes related to the execution of the service or provision requested.
No data is communicated or disclosed to third parties, except in cases provided for by law or if necessary to perform the services requested with prior authorization from the interested party.
PROCESSING METHOD AND DATA STORAGE PERIOD
Personal data are processed with proprietary IT tools (management and office automation software) installed on PCs inside the aforementioned processing places, or on paper forms, for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected.
Specific security measures are observed to prevent the loss of data, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access: We

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of personal data – also by e-mail – to the addresses indicated on this site entails the subsequent and necessary acquisition of sender’s address – as well as any other data included in the message – in order to respond to requests.
HANDLING: “DATA SUPPLIED BY THE USER THROUGH WEB MODULES”
The user is free to provide the personal data requested in the forms and failure to provide them may make it impossible to obtain what is requested.
The data present in the forms of this site are stored in the website database and made available in the administration area of the website to the staff in charge of processing for the time necessary to perform the requested service.
This data includes donations to the site made voluntarily by users.
Donation data remains stored in the site database and is removed after 2 months.
HANDLING: “NEWSLETTER SUBSCRIPTION”
We use first party functions integrated in the site, for sending and managing our newsletter. At least the email of the interested parties is stored in the site database. But additional data (name, surname, city, country, gender) useful for the personalization of the newsletters could be stored.
In particular, each time a new communication is sent, it is possible to know if and when the recipient has read the communication sent. This traceability mechanism is activated if and only if the user decides to view the images inserted within the text of the communication. To avoid being tracked in the aforementioned way, most e-mail reading applications allow you to not view the images for every single email received. It is also possible to know if the recipient clicks on the links in the text of the email that refer to pages of this website.
This statistical information is deleted after 3 months.

We store some significant data of user visits in the database of the website www.dehoniani.org, but without using cookies or third-party applications. This information could be associated with user details such as:

- domain of origin
- Navigation browser
- date and time
- web page visited
- type of device (PC or smartphone)
However, they are analyzed in an aggregate way, together with information from other users, in a way so as not to identify a particular user with respect to the others.
This statistical information is stored in the website database and automatically deleted after 2 months.
