In a jubilee ecclesial and congregational context, the Dehonians of the Ecuador District gathered from August 18 to 21, 2025, for the XII District Assembly.
The XII District Assembly of Ecuador was held in Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas (Ecuador). This Assembly had an international character, since nine nationalities coexist in the ECU District. With the joy of being accompanied by Fr. Willyans Prado Raposo (General Councilor for Latin America), we received formation on the programmatic letter 2024–2030 of the General Government: “Remain in my love.” In a fraternal atmosphere, we also evaluated the life, mission, and economy of the communities, and reviewed certain apostolic works such as the “child sponsorship program,” SCJ formation, and the vocational and missionary ministry for youth.
The last day was dedicated to discovering the Tsáchila culture, proper to the place where we gathered. As the ECU District, we made a pilgrimage in hope and opened our arms and hearts to the Congregation in the jubilee we celebrate.
