The month of September was a month of graces for Madagascar Region. All happened in a sudden, from the 21st to 23rd September 2021 we had ‘” very worth it” assembly. As most of the confreres were present, we could talk openly the matters of the region face to face in a fraternal way. The moto guideline of the assembly was taken from the passage of St Mark 1, 38 which states as follow: Jesus replied, “Let us go somewhere else – to the nearby villages – so I can preach there also. That is why I have come”. Straight afterward, led by Father Sugino, the “Annual Retreat” took place for five days too. During those five blessed days, we were able to step on the footsteps of father Dehon spiritual way of life in reviewing and reflecting on our won as well.

As graces poured out, the evening of 28 September, 25 postulants and 7 novices were welcomed to start their journey at the Dehon House. As recorded on the history of the region, this will be the first biggest group to be hosted in the Noviciate ever since. Much more, on the most solemn feast of the Archangels, 29 September 2021, 5 novices had professed their first vows in responding to the Lord’s call. Presided by the Superior regional father Yvon Mathieu, the celebration took place in the Chapel of the Novitiate ‘Maison Père Dehon’ in Andranobe-Antsirabe.

Here are those who professed their first vows: Moustafa, Randrianarisoa Fitiavana Patrick, Ralahadinirina Arsène Frederic, Raharimanana Erice, Botosoa Rasoamananamana Bernard
May God bless them in their Vocation and help them to continue their journey.
