On the feast of Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, Archangels, 29 September 2020, 7 novices had professed their first vows in responding: “ECCE VENIO” – “INTY AHO” (in Malagasy) to the Most High who called them into the Congregation. Presided by the superior regional father Yvon Mathieu, the celebration took place in the Chapel of the Novitiate ‘Maison Père Dehon’ in Andranobe-Antsirabe. Numbers of Dehonian Confreres made their way to join the special day despite the disturbances of the pandemic Covid-19.

Unfortunately none the family members of the newly professed could come to this awesome celebration.

Here are the names of the brothers who had professed their first vows:

  • RAFANOMEZANTSOA Thomas Augustin
  • RAFANOMEZANTSOA Solofonirina Gaëtan
  • Br HARIMANANA Jean Elysé Sedra
  • RAVOAJANAHRY Fulgence
  • RATSIMBAZAFY Moratiana Jean Marcel
  • ANDRIANIRINA Maherisoa Marius A. Maximiliien
  • ALEXANDRE Martin

As moto of life commitment, they took the verse of 1Thessalonians 5, 24 which states as follow: “The one who calls you is faithful”.

On the very same day, in the Scholasticat of the Priest of the sacred heart Of Jesus in Antananarivo, 11 Brothers renewed their commitment to the Lord. They were courage enough to pronounce “HERE I AM” once more, in following Christ on the path of Venerable Father Dehon.

Father Sugino Paulus, superior of the scholasticate house was the main celebrant of the celebration. Also, as delegate of the superior regional, he received the renewal vows of the Confreres assisted by some Dehonian Confreres too and close friends who could join the celebration.
