Father Luigi Mostarda was born on November 26, 1940 and was 81 years old. He took his first vows on September 29, 1958 and was ordained priest on June 23, 1968.

Father Luigi Mostarda was born on November 26, 1940 in Concesio (BS).
He was baptized a few days later, on December 2, and was confirmed on September 12, 1948, in the parish of Concesio (BS).
Postulant in Albino since June 28, 1957, he began his Novitiate in Albisola on September 28, 1957 and made his First Profession in Albisola on September 29, 1958.
He was ordained Presbyter in Concesio on June 28, 1968.
He attended the Gymnasium in Albino from 1952 to 1957 and the High School and Philosophy in Monza from 1958 to 1962. He was Prefect in Albino from 1962 to 1964 and then he studied Theology in Bologna from 1964 to 1968, dedicating himself also to the study of Sociology in Verona.
From 1968 to 1975 he served as assistant at the Village in Bologna, where he was rector from 1975 to 1981 and then bursar from 1981 to 1982.
Pastor at the Parish of Cristo Re in Milan (1983-1997), he was rector ad complendum triennium until 1985, then rector until 1996 and finally bursar from 1996 to 1997.
He was provincial superior for two terms from 1997 to 2003 and rector of the International College in Rome from 2003 to 2013. Appointed superior in Castiglione delle Stiviere, from 2014, and rector of the San Luigi Gonzaga Shrine, he remained there carrying out with passion and dedication his mission among people until 2021, when he was transferred to the Community of Genoa, following the closure of the Community of Castiglione after the choice of the Diocese of Mantua to no longer use the service of the Dehonians.
He passed away in his sleep on January 8, 2022.
