On Monday, November 28, the initial meeting of the Major Superiors of the congregation will take place at the Generalate in Rome. This is the first such meeting since the General Chapter of last year. It is time to dialogue with the General Government on programming for the coming years and to listen to the confreres in regards to next steps.
“The meeting of the Major Superiors is for us like a Senate,” said Fr. Heiner Wilmer, superior general. “We learn from each other as we propose various steps toward the future.”
Over 35 Major Superiors of the various Dehonian entities are expected to take part in the meeting. Beginning December 1, the secretaries of the entities will have a training workshop.
