The Dehonian’s Constitutions does not make explicit mention of the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This is the fruit of a biblical rereading of Fr. Dehon's faith experience and of a critical re-reading of the historical context which generated it. Today it is necessary to graft devotion onto concrete signs that can be understood by the men and women of our time.
