Perpetual vows in Cameroon
On Saturday, December 4, 07 SCJ confreres made their perpetual vows. It was in Yaoundé, Cameroon, during a Eucharistic celebration presided by the Provincial Superior of Cameroon.

The Congregation of the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Cameroon received seven new confreres to perpetual vows on Saturday, December 4, 2021. The brothers: Ghislain Atonfeu Kejemto, Romeo Ngnintedem, Desmond Kang, Tata Charles Tinku, Evaris Carlos Tsafack, Nestor Kuitche Wolong and Eric Guy Yomo Yomo. The event of this perpetual profession was held at the parish of St. Michael the Archangel of Elig-Edzoa in the Archdiocese of Yaoundé at 10 am.

The mass was celebrated by the provincial superior, Father Pascal Noudjom, scj and concelebrated by Dehonians and invited  diocesan priests. The provincial congratulated the young confreres on their definitive “fiat” within the Dehonian family, and reminded them that as sons of Father Dehon, they are people who give strong witness to their religious consecration in the midst of our world where faith is in crisis.

During the mass, there was a strong presence of Dehonian confreres, religious from other religious families, without forgetting the members of the biological families of the would be confreres who came for the celebration of their consecration.
