Fr. Martino Capelli, SCJto be Beatified Soon

The Venerable Servant of God, Martino Capelli, SCJ (1912-1944), whose decree of martyrdom was published last November 21, will be beatified in the city of his martyrdom on September 27, 2026, according to a communication from the Superior General.

to be a Mother to me,

of the Heart of Jesus
My heart must beat
only for You... must act only for You,
with You, in You.
One day, O Mother,
we shall meet again
on the deathbed
of my martyrdom.
May You be the center,
the sigh of my life.
I will love You
and make You loved by others.
O Virgin, Queen of the Mexican martyrs,
Grant me that one day
I too may be a martyr
for Christ the King.
...prepare me Yourself
for the priesthood,
forming Jesus in me...
so that I may give
Your blessed Son to all.
I am very happy...
to go as a missionary
to the end of the world
a hidden missionary,
persecuted, sacrificed.
I will unite myself to You
in everything to go,
through You, to Jesus.
For Your love,
I accept all... even death,
when, where, and how Jesus
and You desire it.
I will accept every breath of anxiety...
as preparation and thanksgiving
for Holy Communion.
Yes! I will be
always Yours,
all Yours.
